An unfortunate friends cut
I'm keeping this public for now so the two involved will know...

But, I had to cut two of you girls for the same reasons as a few others had to cut you. I'm sorry - I just can't take chances either right now. I understand that you may not fully know what is going on, but after hearing any piece of it, you should understand what a big deal this is to me & the others that are involved. I cannot take the risk of getting Kyndle or Jeremey involved in stupid ass internet drama. So, it is either cut them & anyone involved with them in any way out of my internet life, or risk the chance of anything I say getting back to them & something being used against me. I'm not one for drama; I've stayed away from this drama & kept my mouth shut because I'm terrified of becoming a target. But, I just cannot take any risks. So, I'm sorry...it really upsets me to do this, but this is what I need to do for the sake of my family.

And there are some of you who have NO idea what is going on because you were not involved in the forum...I understand that. Be glad that you know nothing about it. I'm not going to elaborate with what has been going on either.

Comments are screened if anyone wants to comment.

Razza frazza fruit flies
Well, the summer invasion has begun. I think I have finally come up with a better, if vaguely gruesome, solution than the one which involves keeping the vacuum cleaner in the kitchen all summer and sucking up a half dozen flies every time I set foot in the room:

Hang up a sticky fly trap, the cheap kind meant for barns, that you uncoil from a tube. These stay sticky for up to a year. Just beneath it, set a small bowl of vinegar. The vinegar attracts them, but they don't usually land on it. They land nearby.

I went to my friend, Ayla's, wedding yesterday. I've known her since she was a blue-dye hairdo teenager, so it was really nice to see how she's blossomed into a lovely young woman. The ceremony was lovely and moving, the bride beautiful and the groom handsome.

Earlier in the day, I was pushing cardboard as we started the Valor of the Guards campaign game for Advanced Squad Leader in Graham's basement. Lots of mayhem resulted, mistakes were made, and the result was a pretty fun dusting off of an old favorite of mine.

On Saturday, our (Holly, Hunter and I) expedition to Western Speedway was rained out. Instead, it became a bit of a mall crawl which ended with Hunter having a new 'Dragtor' toy and us eating out at Boston Pizza. Oh, and many many answers given to the question "Why?".

Today, back to the gym where I pushed another minute longer on the Stairmaster and felt like I could go for 20 tomorrow. We'll give that a try and see how it goes.

Life is good.

Tattoo and damn post office
First things first... I got my tattoo today! It's not done yet. Most of it's done... the outline and half the colour... but near the end I was starting to get really shaky and my body started rejecting the ink, so we had to stop for today. Today was about 2.5 hours of work, I should only have about 1.5-2 hours left.

Pain-wise, the outline wasn't TOO bad. I had a few moans, mostly quiet moans, a couple lounder, lol. We took a break after the outline... then started the colour. It immediately got a lot more painful, lol. I had more moans this time. and started to get a little shaky about 45 minutes in. Decided to take another break... I walked over to Safeway and got some Kashi cookies and a snack meal... and some water. Then started colour again. Still very very painful. And again, eventually I started to get shaky again. And then my body started to reject some of the ink. Decided to call it a day. Next weekend is when my next sitting is scheduled for. I didn't scream or yell at all, so that's good. Just a lot of moaning, lol.

Anyways, here are the pictures so far. I was hesitant in taking pictures right away, as it's usually better to take pictures after the tattoo's already healed (the lines tend to be better looking after tattoos heal... at least that's what I've noticed with all my other tattoos). Monday to Friday

Holly and Hunter

My first full week of being unemployed has come to an end.

I didn't manage to do everything I wanted (didn't get up to UVic, for example), but I got most of it done. The apartment got cleaned, for example. I picked up my suit for a wedding I'm going to on Sunday. I was able to finally start putting together my model of a Panther tank.

I got to the gym for longer stretches, and managed to burn more than my target 2400 calories. Pretty proud of that, especially since I'm working towards the 30 minute mark on the Stairmaster with greater speed than I expected.

Started drinking Coke Zero, instead of real Coke, in an attempt to reduce both my desire to drink pop and to cut down on the many calories I was injecting into my diet.

But the most fun was had when I had Holly & Hunter over on Monday for a long day of doing nothing... and then hung out again for most of the afternoon on Thursday, running errands and fending off the endless question of "Why?"

Tomorrow, weather willing, we'll be off to see Monster Trucks.
