The moans and joys abound.

We've entered a new phase of separation anxiety where he wants Jason on call 24/7. At least once a day now we have to stop what we're doing and just sit and have some mope time. He sits and whimpers "miss daddy" "I want daddy." So we've been visiting quite a bit and it's been nice. We took him for a walk around the parliament buildings in the evening the other day and it was all lit up. He even got to pet a horse!

Today, Auntie Lolo, Hunter and I took off to find some beach.

And so concludes Halloween 07. :-) It was a mixed affair. Mostly fun with a few tears.

I think I'm definitely doing a simpler design next year on our pumpkin, heh heh.

In this town we call home, everyone hail to the pumpkin song.. )

Happy Canada Day!

We took young'un bucket shopping the other day and Jason found him a very funky bucket. The weather was so nice that we had to take him down to the beach to test'er out. :-D

Easter was thoroughly enjoyable! Uncle Dan and his gf Jen came and had breakfast and spent most of the early afternoon. There was an Easter Egg hunt which Hunter was old enough to really do this year and he loved it. I really wanted one of those nice cloth baskets, usually in the face of a chikie or bunny, but I couldn't find any in time. He used his cart (sort of) instead. He kept wanting to open each egg as he found it anyway lol. And it was fun for me picking out the eggs (got some decently colourful ones this year) and the little goodies in them (Reeces Pieces minis and Matchbox cars), also got a couple prezzies (yes, he's quite spoiled sometimes) from both me and Nan.
