The summer just keeps moving, I can't believe how busy we've been! There's been a lot of downtime, but you just don't feel it when you're hustling so much to all these places. It's been amazing. :-D

Yesterday it was off with Lolo to Beacon Hill Petting Zoo to see the new baby piglets.

We took Hunter to Western Speedway for the first time today. It was amazing!!! I think I had more fun but he still enjoyed it a lot. ;-) We arrived at 6ish for the time trials and stayed until almost 10 and the event was only half over when we left. Lots of fun. Mini Van Figure 8s, car jump, mini figure 8s and the main event of a 20 lap bump to pass which had lots of destruction. He was happy once we got him the earmuffs, but got restless (fair enough so) after about 2-2.5 hours. What a time!

Lovely weekend.

We ran out of diapers on Thurs and didn't buy any until this afternoon and somehow made it through with only two accidents. Not too bad! He's refused to try going potty at daycare all of a sudden so I have to use diapers for that but I'm trying to leave him in undies at home and he does so well, even all night at home. It's a frustrating sort of thing as we're just hanging on the last wire of diapers.

We got new shoes, he's now a 6.5-7. They're Lightning McQueen sandals that light up. He's never happy with them at first and yelled and hollered for his "fire truck boots" but he adjusts pretty fast.

Spent yesterday chilling at home and today over at Jason's, so without further adieu...

We had so much fun feeding the ducks yesterday that I thought we could make it a regular thing after work/daycare. We pass right through that area so I just pack some food with me. Hunter was excited about going back and feeding the ducks, it's such a nice way to "end" the work day and gives us both something to look forward to before the evening craziness at home.

We also had a nice view of one of the fire engines and the fire fighters working on it.

After the fun he had feeding ducks at daycare, I wanted to go out with him too. So we finally got around to it this evening. It was lovely! The weather has finally picked up and turned towards spring. Hunter loved it, the ducks get so close and aren't afraid of him (unless he chases them).

Things were back to normal and we did our regular Saturday "dada place" hang out today. It felt so good after a couple crazy work weeks and just nothing really being like it used to be. I picked up some awesome shades for him, isn't he stylin? Also re-mohawked his hair.

The moans and joys abound.

We've entered a new phase of separation anxiety where he wants Jason on call 24/7. At least once a day now we have to stop what we're doing and just sit and have some mope time. He sits and whimpers "miss daddy" "I want daddy." So we've been visiting quite a bit and it's been nice. We took him for a walk around the parliament buildings in the evening the other day and it was all lit up. He even got to pet a horse!

Today, Auntie Lolo, Hunter and I took off to find some beach.

It was off to the Royal BC Museum yesterday, what a blast!! It was the first time Hunter has ever been, and I haven't been in at least 6 or 7 years. A lot has changed!

What a busy and absolutely wonderful Pre-Halloween weekend we've had here. :-D I can't believe we still have 3 more days of fun before it's even Halloween.

The fall blahs have set in. It's been nothing but wet wet and more wet for days now! It makes for a rather boring and slow week inside for us here and Hunter is really missing the park and beach. I tried to cure some blahs with what else but...
